Joules is how optical energy is characterized, measured. Usually it would look like this-- joules/cm2. Illuminate provides more than 5 joules/cm2 in five minutes. With 1,200 cm2 of treatment area, that equals 6000 Joules in just five minutes. Ask the other providers how much energy they achieve. Sadly most don't know.
